The 17th month.

Hello! Sorry for the lack of update! I have to say I am spending loads of time with my boyfriend before he serves national service. Well, isn't that what most girls would do? Anyway my new school term's about to start 10 days only. I'm super nervous of meeting new people but even more excited to discover new people that shares mutual interests with me.

It was our 17th month for being together, so we went on down to Fish & Co Seafood in a Pan @ ION Orchard to feed our hunger. Randy ordered the Best Fish & Chips in Town (top photo), while I ordered a Danish Fish & Chips (second photo). The service was good and the food came promptly; definitely recommend. It costed pretty reasonable (aprrox $15.95++) because the size of the fillet is really big. I couldn't finish mine, but my boyfriend didn't hesitate to finish it up for me. The fillet was very tender and soft topped up with delicious sauces.

After having a great feast, we head down to Marina Bay to go see the newly launched attraction, Garden by the Bay. The scenery was okay during the day but it would probably look fabulous at night. Can't wait to pay my second visit again to see them light up the area with beautiful lights. We chilled by the bay area and then walked to the garden itself to explore. After much walking and talking, we decided to head home early.

The weather was so hot yesterday so I picked a thin cotton tunic as my base. Wore a pair of comfy slim jeans and folded up the cuffs to give a casual feel. So if you're looking to still give yourself some coverage, always remember to go for thinner materials with loose fitting. I didn't want my tunic to have the over sized look so I wore a thin waist belt to add more femininity to it. To add a touch of statement, I wore a minimalistic gold plated necklace. Bringing a very versatile tote bag and wearing comfortable shoes is great for outdoors.

CHIC. KISS. LOVE: Fashion Event

Hi there!

So today I went down to Zouk to attend a fashion event. Honestly, it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. The fashion show seemingly lasted for half an hour and sad to say I am quite disappointed. It was more like a clearance sales and shop advertising event, but at least the models were charming people.

Summer never ends here in Singapore so it was comforting to see lots of floral going on. But since this is a blogshop event, the quality wouldn't be exceptional. Just cheap fashion for the fashion trend chasers.

So afterwards, which was like an half an hour after the fashion show (frankly speaking, I only went there to see the fashion show), we went on to Orchard Isetan to eat Pepper Lunch. I've ordered the Curry Pepper Chicken Rice with Cheeze, mmm, yummy, while my boy ordered a Salmon Pepper Rice.

(White Blazer from Zara, Pink Collar Black Floral shirt & White Highwaist Shorts from Style Bound, Black Leather Tote Bag from Mossimo Dutti & Black Smooth low-cut boots from Dr. Martens.)

I first had my white blazer and shorts in mind, then I thought I needed that pop of color, so I wore a sheer collared floral top to enhance my simple outerwear and bottom. I wanted to deliver a casual-formal look so instead of heels I paired it with low cut boots. Then of course, what's a full look without accessories? I didn't wear any necklaces cause I didn't want it to overwhelm and cover up the pretty prints of my shirt. I wanted it to have a more edgy look so I added on spike and beaded bracelets to compliment my leather finishings.

There you have it, a look suitable for informal events. You don't wanna wear too grand but yet you wanna stand out in the crowd, take this look! I hope you enjoyed your Sunday and have a pleasant week ahead!

Hello girls, today will not be anything personal. Just giving out a few fashion tips & show you my outfit of the day. So judging from the title you guys should probably have a rough idea on what my outfit is about. Yes! Metalic! I haven't had the chance to rock this look cause I couldn't find the right make up to pair it with. So since I've been exploring other kinds of make up, I've decided to go for a subtle smokey eye.

The reason why I wore brown instead of silver is to tone down my overall silver-ish look. The great thing is that I have a neutral skin tone. I learnt about this from watching Michelle Phan's video (Michelle Phan is a famous YouTube make up guru). It's super easy to do and suitable for Asian eyes! I myself have tapered eyelids and I usually put double eyelid tape to enhance my crease.

(Divine Over sized Tunic, Metallic Silver Clutch & Patent Flats from Zara, Triple Spiked Bracelet from ShopStyleBound & Silver Velvet Leggings from Topshop.)

Pretty silvery isn't it? I remember when I bought that tunic, Zara was having sales. The moment I saw it, I didn't even hesitate! It's kind of a bad & good thing at the same time because the thing about impulsive buys are that you don't know whether you really need it. I paired it up with a silver velvet legging I got from Topshop very long ago. It was waiting inside my closet for a long long time but I've finally put it to good use! I preferred a more feminine look so I wore a waist belt to accentuate my waistline! Since I couldn't get enough of that metallic fever, I added a silver clutch. I am mad in love with this clutch, it gives a very futuristic vibe to it! And to finish off, I paired the look with a black patent flats. As for the arm candy, I kept it simple. A triple spiked from my shop.
